I am looking for a case study that highlights how law enforcement agencies standard operating procedure (policy) has been unable to adapt or mirror today’s modern policing practices. The study needs to show in detail how standard operating procedure of old; is antiquated and unable to satisfy law enforcement agencies attempting to adopt a more community policing style of service. The study should also note the challenges agencies face when attempting to update their standard operating procedures in today’s rapidly evolving and ever changing culture. Lastly, the study should offer at least two possible solutions to the challenges listed.
