Read over the Primary Sources sheet: PrimarySourceExamplesf16.docx. The primary source you choose does not necessarily have to relate to the topics on the sheet–it is to be used as a guide. What’s most important is the genre of primary sources (legal cases, political documents, news coverage, etc.)

Choose a primary source that might serve as the basis of your HCP. Describe the primary source. What is it? What time period is it from? Evaluate how, if so, it is related to Evicted. Finally, explain how it might form the basis of your HCP. Be specific, thorough, and nuanced in your responses.
