Write an essay on either of the following topics:

1. Write a paper analyzing the effects of some major decision you’ve made in your life, such as a marriage, divorce, or choice of school, job, or place of residence.

OR

1. Write a cause and effect paper calling for a major change in government or legislation, such as making voting compulsory, limiting a president to a single term forcing the Supreme Court justices to run for office, or requiring all citizens of a certain age to serve their government. Be sure to identify the reasons for making your recommendation. You might also consider what you believe would be the effects if your recommendations are accepted.
