Terrorist Attacks

Question 1

Terrorist groups attacked public transportation in the years prior to 9/11. What other terrorist organizations have conducted these attacks, and do these previous attacks serve as guidelines or training opportunities for future terrorist attacks using explosives, incendiaries, and chemical agents? Why, or why not?

Preventing a terrorist attack using chemical, incendiary, or explosive devices is the goal of the Department of Homeland Security and local emergency services. Are there models that would be more effective in reducing the risk of attack or preventing the attacks altogether?
