“The House of Dies Drear” by Virginia Hamilton Book review/ report For each chapter take notes on the following story elements: setting, characters, plot, vocabulary, quotations, and evident themes or author’s purpose. There is no need to keep making notes for setting once it is identified unless it changes. The same is true for character unless something new is revealed about one already noted. Have a least 5 quotes from the book one is. It needed for each chapter just include those that stand out as meaningful. Include at least three vocabulary notes for each chapter of new /unfamiliar words. On vocabulary notes, list the word and a definition or synonym along with an original sentence of your own which is at least 10 words in length. For plot include at least two or three notes regarding the most important action or story development details for each chapter. make sure each element is clearly labeled for each chapter
