Business Impact Analysis is not limited to corporations but is also linked to the events in our personal lives. Now, you will assess a particular example. Complete the following assignment:

• Identify the critical functions enabling you to earn a degree and how they might be at risk, either in a small way, or in ways which could prevent you from reaching your objective.
  • What might get in the way of you reaching your goal, and what can you do to limit the risk of those events occurring?
  • Use an impact analysis matrix to describe the probability of the events you describe versus the potential damage.
  • You can be creative, but this scenario lends itself to practicality and common sense. Try to examine the more realistic, everyday potential for goal interruptions; i.e., cars breaking down, sick children, working overtime, finances etc.
