Toolbox Activity: Project Management Toolbox

The Project Management Toolbox will be open throughout the course for you to share valuable software tools that can be used to effectively manage projects. Microsoft Project tutorials and Smartsheet tutorials have been placed in the toolbox for you.

As you explore tools, keep in mind that, in Module Six, you will create a project schedule with a Gantt chart using a software tool of your choosing (Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or another tool).

For this assignment, complete the following steps:

  • Choose one tool and add it to the toolbox. Include a short description of the tool and its features and provide a link, if possible.
  • If you are currently using the tool, discuss your experience. If the tool is new to you, describe how the tool could be useful in managing projects.
