News Essay Assignment

This essay is assigned in three graded steps. They are due as follows:

• Topic due in Writing Assignments discussion topic Sunday, September 2 by 11:59pm ET (Week 2) (10 pts)
  • a short paragraph (approximately 3-6 sentences) which includes the following:
    • The title, author, and source of the news article you have chosen (2 points)
    • The Women’s Studies issues you will focus on (3 points)
    • Where specifically in the course materials you will find support for your claims about Women’s Studies: give article titles, course module section numbers, and/or course content powerpoint or document names (2 points)
    • A brief statement about how you believe the news article connects to the Women’s Studies issues (3 points)
